They don't wrote them like this anymore

I am a fan of 'Out of Africa' and 'Ghost in the Darkness', and this has to be the missing link to complete the triad. What a story man , couldn't put the book down, its sooooo underrated

WOW! What a read, what a story!

Every South African should read this book which not only gives hope and light at the end of this darkly tunnel that we are so used to, but leaves a sense of peace from page to page. I could smell Africa from page to page, it took me back to the days of the Kruger National Park when I was a youth. Not only is it an easy read, but has reached deeply within me, definitely a strong spiritual energy is unleashed when reading this story. I hope this book does not get lost in the shuffle of these confusing times, for me this obscure author Shiloh Noone has all the makings of a future Wilbur Smith.

A Bicycle, a Chess Set, an African River

What grips the reader is the excellent flow of the storyline. There are so many adventures going on that it could easily be enough for an entire TV series which I believe this book is destined for .
The characters are so life-like that I became quite emotional at the thought of losing any one of them.
A book for all ages and inspirational to young and old alike.
Explore Africa and its beauty whilst we still can is a feeling I came away with.
