A good thriller

FBI agent Kit Steele, known in Boston as "The Hunter," has captured a serial killer Vincente Carpio. Her informant, and sometime lover, is Cormack O'Connell, the harbormaster and mob boss. He oversees the harbor and manages the smuggling and other illegal activities within the harbor precinct. Kit and Cormack must join forces against two evil men, Javier Carpio and T'phong Soh, both members of the gang MS-13. This gang is especially vicious and specializes in murdering their victims with machetes. T'phong Soh wants to take over the illegal activities that occur in the harbor and Javier Carpio wants to arrange a prison-break for his brother, Vincente. The plan that he devises will endanger the lives of hundreds of residents of Boston.
This book is more than a non-stop orgy of bloodshed. There is plenty of mystery with questions that need to be answered, such as who is betraying Cormack McConnell? Who is feeding information about him to T’phong Soh? More than enough mystery to keep you guessing to the end.
Chaos abounds and in the middle of the blood and guts, you find a love story. Will Cormack and Diamond be able to protect the ones they love amid the bloodshed, back-stabbing, and general mayhem? There are more twists, turns, and hairpin bends than any mountain pass and I am sure you will be riveted to the pages until the end. I highly recommend this for fans of action packed mystery thrillers.
