Once again they are joined by their friends Moon-Face, Saucepan Man and Silky.

The third and final book in The Magic Faraway Tree series sees Curious Connie come to stay with Jo, Bessie and Frannie. The three children are keen to introduce Connie to "The Folk of the Faraway Tree" – but Connie doesn't believe in magic, or fairy-folk, and pours scorn on everything she sees.

Torchlight bedtime stories

I heard about this series many years ago from mommy friends (back when I was childless and carefree). I myself had never read it when I was a child, so when I saw the special, I was finally able to fulfill two wishes - bedtime stories for my son AND myself. We have been enjoying reading one chapter every night and I will say, it is hard to stop! We love the adventures and the writing is so fun to sound out. Sometimes, as a treat for my son, I read two chapters just so HE can know what happens next. With loadshedding every night for a while now, we've upped the fun with torchlight and shadow puppets. These are such magical moments - highly recommend!

We love escaping to this wonderful world

We read a chapter or 2 a day. The kids love to find out where the kids will go next.... Except they are a bit worried about the children going of into the woods and never telling their parents where they are going and not listening to the wood creatures telling them not to go up in the new worlds.... (They live in a different time to what we grew up into.)

Magic Faraway Tree Collection

These are classics that entertained and enthralled me as a child. I bought the set of 3 for my daughter when she was younger and I loved bedtime story time as much as she did, reliving the adventures I had read as a child. Now I have gifted my nephew with a set, who is at the perfect age to be spirited away into the imaginative world of the Faraway Tree. I would highly recommend these books to all parents as the perfect books to read aloud at bedtime with your children.

Just lovely - perfect for the imagination

Written beautifully, English is for a slightly older child maybe 8 upwards but still enough details to allow the imagination to run. I'm enjoying the story as much as my child. What a wonderful experience.
