One of the best books I ever read

I was a young girl when I first read this trilogy and now that the new books are coming out, I’m rereading and it still strikes a chord with me. Helen is this beautiful, amazing girl who sees herself more like a freak or someone not worthy of note. I resonated with the feeling of being extraordinary in an ordinary world that constantly rejects you. The main love interest is the most untoxic man in the history of ever (except in the beginning but I can deal with that). Lucas and Helen’s journey haunted me well into my 20’s and I believe it can have that same impact on anyone who chooses to read it. I will always and forever give this book 5 stars!

Got really annoyed with Helen - she was written to be perfect and personally prefer main characters that are flawed. If you liked Twilight then this book is right in your alley
